The Busch R5 series 302D vacuum pump is the largest vacuum pump we sell. As part of Busch’s R5 series the vacuum pump has been recently improved and now has lower ultimate pressure and high suction capacity. These improvements help the vacuum pump to be used in many more industrial applications.
The 302D vacuum pump is designed for continuous use in a commercial environment and has been successfully used for many years in variuos different applications. The vacuum pump is extremely reliable with it being made from high quality materials and computerised manufacturing processes. The vacuum pump is directly driven by the standard motor and the inlet flange has an integrated check valve to prevent air leakage into the vacuum chamber after the vacuum pump is turned off.
The Busch 302 D vacuum pump can be quickly and easily serviced due to its great accessibility with no other maintenance required other than oil changes etc.
The vacuum pump is also environmentally safe with air cooling, internal oil recirculation, integral oil mist seperator for oil free exhaust air, the vacuum pump also has low vibration and noise levels allowing it to be used in any environment.

Operationally reliable and cost-effective
The rotary vane technology has been continuously developed and optimised by Busch for 50 years, with constant focus on both economy and reliability of operation. High efficiency and energy-efficient drive units are the positive results of this development.
Application-oriented
The R 5 vacuum pumps are distinguished by high pumping speed even in low pressure ranges and therefore quick evacuation times. The heavy-duty vanes guarantee long operating times. This series has been specially developed for applications with varying operating vacuums and can be reliably used both in continuous operation at ultimate pressure and also in low vacuum ranges.
The optimised internal oil separation guarantees clean exhaust air in all operating conditions.
Service-friendly
Maintenance can easily be carried out by the operator. Apart from the change of oil and filters at regular service intervals, no further maintenance is necessary.
